I didn't have to pass a background check for the first gun I ever bought. Didn't change anything, either. I didn't run out and rob anyone or decide to go on a murder spree. Background checks are useless and only benefit the government. I really wish the people voting yes would weigh in and justify their vote. I'd like to see the logic behind it.
