I have a Polytech Legend that I am contemplating selling. The question is should I? If I do it would include 11 mags and about 1300 rounds of ammo. I'm am having a hard time deciding on selling and if I do, at what price? I know it's value but I am not the type to take advantage of my fellow gun owners with a over inflated price. Thanks in advance for your input.

In VG to LNIB condition they are going for $1600.00-$2500.00 depending on how badly the buyer wants it for his/her stable.
Add about $400.00 for the value of the mags and ammo.
I've seen them advertised for $3200.00 but I doubt if they sold for that much.

even during panic pricing, collector oriented AK items, like the polytech, didn't go up much if at all in value. They were already pretty high anyway.

Thanks for the input. I think I will be selling it, will be listing here on INGO. I think that $2500.00 would be a fair price.

I personally think that the market is really weak right now, and to get "top dollar" you need to run it on gunbroker. That's just been my experience. YMMV
I'm not sure you will realistically get that out of it.
    Good luck

I would put it on theakforum and akfiles first.

do you have the box? if you don't $2500 might be a little bit of a stretch, but I wouldn't hesitate to start there.

Yes, I still have the box, manual, bayonet and sling. This one came with one mag.

From what I have seen recently you should be more than capable of raking in over 2 grand. However, I wouldn't encourage over pricing the rifle to others on here, but its your rifle and your choice to sell. Definately don't sell it cheap or you will regret it.

I am not going to sell it cheaply or over price it. I have someone right now that wants it pretty badly. He doesn't think that 2500 is over priced for the gun, 11 mags and over 1200 rounds. He just doesn't have the cash in hand at the moment.
