I have been thinking of trading my custom glock 36 for a glock 19 or S&W Shield. The 36 has been flawless in performance. It has had the grip reduction and rounded triger gard night sights xo front and glock rear night sights. I have a gen one 19 and a gen 3 19 plus a 26. Been eyeing the gen 4 19 and the shield. Do you think I should trade it. Im a big fan of the 19.

You'd be better off selling your gun and then using the money to purchase another.

Especially if you were contemplating trading with a gun shop.

However, there may very well be someone out there who'll trade you straight up.

As far as being a "good trade", that's only for you to determine. Well, you and the other party involved, that is.

I have a Gen4 G19 that I have been happy with so far, but if you already have a Gen3 I would just keep that and get a single stack option like the Shield or a PPS.

I think you guys are right I'll keep it and save up for another hand gun. Its not like I need it but would like to get one more before the end of the year.
