Show me your movie / video game clones

I couldn't pass this mdrx when it came up. I've wanted one for a long time. Ended up with a g super duty instead but managed to sell the sd to pick up this mdrx. While the sellers scenario is far from ideal I'm extremely appreciative to have been able to get it.

What clones have you all lusted for?

Not much of a gaming guy...but a huge movie fan. I think you all know one of my favorite weapon/movie combos. Actually, it has played a role in a lot of my favorite movies. But this combo...is specific to a particular movie.

Of course, his being for a lefty and with the non "Miami Classic" thinner harness straps.

As for game and movie guns, I’ve never had anything special, but I remember that one dude in Live Free or Die Hard with H&K UMP 45 laying hate and that thump was pretty enticing....

Not a firearm, but I was all about Gargoyles sunglasses when they were in style. The Terminator, Dale Earnhardt, and my dad. An awesome combination! I wanted to be like all of them rolled into one. Maybe they’ll come around again someday. In the meantime I wouldn’t hesitate to don a pair again.

What would you list as the pros/cons of the MDRX? A former coworker recently offered to sell me one and I can’t seem to make up my mind.

I've only ran 200ish rounds. I don't see my ar15s getting much love after this. It shoots lights out, flat and fast. I've got very nice ar's and this will be my go to from now on.

Cons are the trigger, it's good but not sd3g good. Still not enough to take anything away from this bull pup.

A usc is on my list. I'm debating taking down parts for a g36 conversion right now, but usc to ump seem to be easier to come by. Hk is 90% of my bucket list

I only get to play Playstation once a month it feels like lol. Life with Toddlers...

That's who I've been talking to about the sl8 conversion. Problem with the g36 conversions is the new sl8 drop dried up the parts kits. He has a steady flow of UMP stuff it seems like though

I hear ya on that. There are a few H&K models I’d love to have but it’s hard to justify the expenditure being my family’s sole source of income at the moment. Sigh…maybe when the wife finishes school.

I kind of figured as much, being a bullpup and all. I have 3 and have never really had an issue with the triggers. They leave a lot to be desired when compared with a good AR trigger but I feel like I shoot them just as well.
