ok. i just bought a sig 238. its the 380 copy of the colt mustang or pocketlite. it has a steel guild rod with i like and night sights. trigger im pretty sure is plastic just like the colts were, anyway on the bottom side of the slide it has a ball detent. why??????? anyone know??????? i have seen the on revolvers to make the crane fit tighter. but when gun is in battery the ball detent pushes down on the round in the mag.???? makes no sense. between the sig and the colt in not sure which is better yet.
