SIG MCX

Does anybody have any experience with the SIG Sauer MCX rifle? I saw one today in 5.56. The system looks sweet. Check weld wasn't bad on the folding stock. Wanting opinions...

The rifle is well made. So well that people have switched the MCX lower with a standard AR15 lower and it still functions flawlessly. The only issue I would have is the lack of stock options. But you are getting a more compact rifle with it's default stock at least.

I have a little experence with the MCX, shot one in 5.56 and 300BLK. Pretty smooth and lightweight platform, one in 7.62x39 interests me a bit since I sold all my 7.62x39 AKs and never plan to get another.

I shouldered one today and it seems to have fixed several features of the AR-15 that I always wished could be changed. Folding stock, easily changed barrel, monolithic rail. It also avoids some of the proprietary downfalls of the SCAR system. I hear the trigger sucks, but again, it is 100% compatible with AR aftermarket triggers.
