Everyone is different and has different likes and dislikes. My Sig TacOps is my favorite 1911. It's not as well made as my DW CCO, but it's the most accurate 1911 I own and the one I enjoy shooting the most. I want to get a DW Specialist, which is a similar, though better made gun. For that, I'll have to pay around twice what I paid for my Sig TacOps (bought it on sale for under $800). I think for $800 - $900, they're a good value. The only thing I don't like is that they're series 80, but that doesn't make that much of a difference.

Hey, at least they don't put a plastic MSH in the things. Plastic anything (except WWII grips) is an abomination on a 1911. I've toyed with getting a Specialist and someday, I just might. But, for now, I can live with my Sig.

That's my exact thought. Want a Specialist someday, but the TacOps will fill that role fine for now ;)

Sig 1911s are beautiful. Had my eye on the Scorpion for a long time. Just not a fan of the Series 80 safety. But I'm sure they are as reliable as any other Sig.
