I began this whole gun ownership thing with a Beretta, and did carry a Glock for a number of years (a G26 which was as a fantastic little gun for my needs at the time), but these days if I'm carrying a semi-auto it's a Sig. I'm a fan of both the "classic-line" DA/SA guns and the P320. They each have their place, and I've gotten excellent reliability and performance out of both designs.

I sold the Glock off to a good home a couple of years back...not because I didn't like it but because I found that my grip and presentation were inconsistent with it after putting in so much time on the Sigs. Glock makes an excellent handgun...I've just gone a different route.

Pretty simple question, are all Sig Sauer handguns that much better than Glock handguns? I only mention handguns specifically because Glock hasn't come out with anything besides the same gun, in different calibers, since the 80's. And before all you Glocktards say your little slogan, "Perfection", show me a unaltered Glock... First thing you do is replace the trigger, "Perfection, some alterations required" should be your new slogan.
    In a word...Nope!

I like the way Sigs feel in the hand better than glocks but I shoot my Glock 17 better than my P320 for some reason.

For the record, Beretta is the greatest handgun manufacturer.

You have to look hard to find a striker fired platform from a major manufacturer that doesn't work nowadays.
    Glocks are nothing special.
True, but I have several and a lot of mags. Not saying they are the best, just what I have and they work. Others do to, I
IIke my S&W’s. Hard to go wrong with a reputable manufacturer.

I started with a glock and carried them for a few years. I then shot a sig p220 and immediately fell in love. There's just something about the smoothness of it...

I've had several Sigs, now own none. I bought a Glock 21 and sold my 1911s. Lately, I've taken quite a shine to Revolvers; I have purchased 3 so far this year. Perhaps I am just confused.

There's a best for you and that's pretty much it, whatever it may be.

As others have posted, likes and interests change in regards to firearms constantly. I got into the subcompacts late and might be leaving them early as the internet hype hasn't lived up to reality in my experience.

Different journey for me. I started with P220, and I agree with you, 'smooth' is a good description. Then I graduated to full-size 1911, which I consider a masterwork of form, function, and design. Then I shot a G21g4 and immediately fell in love. There's just something about the 'shootability' of it.
