I have to wait after Christmas for it to be delivered but I can't wait. A little Christmas present to my self. Great deal, couldn't pass it up. So what are your thoughts and input on your experiences with the SP2022.

I loved mine when I had it, but for some stupid reason NEEDED a Glock. Worst trade I ever made IMO. Mine had the "short reach trigger" on it when I got it, and I like it a bit more than the bigger bodied stock trigger that are on them from factory.
Take down is a bit different than regular SIG's, but it's not difficult by any means. Mine was accurate as I wanted to be with it, and with it in SA after the first shot, it's pretty darn easy to be accurate with it. Enjoy it man.

The SP2022 is also known as a 'gateway' Sig... So be warned, your Sig addiction may creep up on you.

Its an excellent choice and great value.

    Enjoy! :ingo:

Just picked up a .40 SP 2022 in FDE, night sights, 5 mags and two Sig paddle holsters a level I & a level II.

It's one of those I'll never sell or trade off.

My sp2022 shares EDC time with my p228 but the 2022 gets the nod more times than not. Great gun. I feel it's sig's most underrated pistol. It's an exceptional value. It's stupid accurate to boot. Mine is the FDE 9mm flavor with factory sig night sights. Bought 2 extra factory 15 rounders from palmetto. Only gripe is most of them ship with only one mag

I sold my P938 to buy it, I will buy another P938, but I missed not having a double stack 9mm in my collection. I have been carrying my Springfield 1911 till I can pick up my Sig. I fell in love with DO/SA with my Berretta M9, which I wish I never sold.

I like mine. It's a 9mm. I always thought I had big hands, but I like the smaller grip option better than the larger one. I've found mine to be very accurate as well. I think you'll be very happy with yours.

I have 500+ rounds through mine, FDE 9mm. This piece is solid, and I'm really accurate with it. My Bro-in-law has a P220 as his police issue and he said he really enjoyed shooting mine, which means a lot to me. $389 is basically free for a Sig, nice find!

Very underrated gun. It was gonna be a "gateway" for me but I bought a sig 250 and now I have no sigs :dunno:

    I am eyeballing a 226 though.

It will show up at Beech Grove Firearms Friday. It arrived in Indianapolis tonight, UPS package tracker is teasing me. Who ever did that to that SP2022 is a sick and twisted individual. I wanted a P226, that will be the next Sig buy, that or a Sig 1911.

Keep an eye on CDNN. They usually have used-trade-ins.

Excellent gun for the most part, the only complaint I have is that the polymer scratches very easy as with all Sig Polymer guns. Doesn't effect the function though.
