Is it possible to get the dB from one shot and then have people put in what they think it is? If its possible to extend out the rating some, like 30.123456. Not sure if its even possible, just an idea. Can anyone else take that idea any further or make it better?

Those who have been to USDS know about the dog Gigi, so maybe something involving her? Everyone pick a number, it is written on a treat, and whichever treat she eats first wins the package?

    Between corn and soybean fields.
I like contests with a randomly picked winner, but that's because I like my odds of winning better that way than having to do something special like winning a photo contest or doing something witty.

    I'll pick a number between 1 and 1,000 :)

I agree random is best. Even if it's just drawing usernames out of a hat. I trust the guys at USDS :)

With a little more time a raffle with the proceeds going to charity would have been a good way to do it.

That gets those with the larger donations with a much higher chance, effectively "buying" it. The vendor still gets some exposure for making the donation but does it spread any advertising for them?

Just do something random. If we want to increase exposure for USDS, we can all meet up at their parking lot... well that may **** off their neighbors.

I'd have to pick something that requires absolutely no talent because that is exactly how much I have.
You know what they say, I'd rather be lucky than good!

since it is for a .22, maybe a jar of .22lr and guess the count, closest wins.

How about like one of those radio give aways. You know, "9th caller wins two tickets to Saturdays AC/DC concert". How about at a specified time on 12/24, Fenway starts a thread for the giveaway and the person with the 22nd post wins.
