    That sounds like Key Plastics...
Nope, it was a paper plant. Shut down to look good on the books, moved everything to sister plants in and out of the country.

I think I'm going to get some of the can racks that you load from the top, then the oldest can comes out the front.

Considered those but they take up so much real estate. I have big shelving units that have individual cubby type spaces. Works out well. FIFO means actually rotating the items by hand, but I usually just wait until I have enough items to stock then hit em all.

This is just for the stuff I keep in the basement which we lovingly call the zombie room.

My wife found the cardboard ones and they are much cheaper. Now all we do is use the first front items and the later ones roll forward. She's been great at finding these different gizmos for good prices.

Do you have a link? I didn't see anything made of cardboard on my amazon.com search.

:dunno: My cans are made of glass.

I do go to the grocery though. Last time Kroger had toilet paper on sale I bought 6 months worth. I'm a little behind on my stocking, but that should get me through the first couple months of 2018. ;)

We're still using what my dad bought prior to mid 2016! Toilet paper, Kleenex, paper towels . . . paper products are like ammo. You can't have too much.

"ATM", talking about his "behind". Sigh. Again, my overuse of PornHub is conflicting with the "family friendly" atmosphere at INGO.

He's big into religion and quotes scripture that promises that his Lord will provide "daily bread" needs. Somebody should send him some new stories talking about the hundreds of thousands of people dying world wide due to starvation each year....and many of them are religious too. He also states that economic downturns brings about lower food prices so I'm sure he's hoping for the collapse of the mighty dollar.

To each their own on how they follow religion...but he is WAY out of touch with reality.

Here's a link to his article, online: Tyler Watts: Folly of food hoarding

The guy is a complete idiot, he claims Venezuelans should have invested in the US dollar. The conversion rate of USD to Venezuelan Bolívar is government mandated to a rate of 1:10. Of course the real rate is nowhere close to that, the only way to get the actual rate is to set out to the black market. If your financial security is on the line do you want to put your financial future in the hands of criminals? I haven't followed the socialist paradise of Venezuela as closely as some, but it's clear this author has not done his research.
