Thinking about getting a single shot shotgun and was looking for advice. Not looking to spend a bunch. Just something to shot around with and see if it is something I want to spend bigger money on. Thanks in advance
Look for a Rossi matched pair. For about the same price as most single shot shotguns, you can get one frame and two barrels. You can get a .22Lr and a 12ga., or a .22magnum and a 20ga. or a .22Lr and a .410ga. and the list goes on.
I have one in .22Lr and 20 ga. It's good for squirrel/rabbit or even deer.
It also breaks down into it's own little carry case that will fit in a back pack.
Whole package can usually be bought for under $150.
I live in Indy so Walmart doesn't carry firearms anymore. I have been looking at the Rossi because of the matched pair. I wonder though if I should just get the adapters from Short Lane or another vendor instead of carrying another barrel.
