Skunks

Closest I came to one was when I lived in Griffith. Walking home from the bar next to a wooden privacy fence. Get just past it and hear a noise, look over and there's a skunk about 3-4 feet away facing me with it's back feet bouncing up and down. I just slowly backed away. I'm surprised I didn't get sprayed, it was cornered between the fence and the house.

I was walking my dog one time up at the cabin. She got real interested in a culvert -briefly. It had a momma and five babies in it. After taking them out, my son and I were going up to the store. There was another momma and five babies in the same spot! We jumped out of the truck and took care of those six too. Mind you, the wind was blowing away from my wife and daughter at the time...... When we got back to the cabin after our trip, my girls were PISSED! The wind changed and blew the goodness from twelve dead skunks right to them. Ah, the good times we've had!!
