SOLD! Thanks for a smooth and enjoyable transaction Colt556!
I'm helping a friend sell a Smith & Wesson Model 59 she inherited from her father's estate. She does not know any history on it. He appears to have taken very good care of it; both the inside and out had a layer of protective oil. Condition appears to be 85-90%. Only the magazine shows any real signs of age or wear and perhaps a little bit or rust around the Pachmayer grip screws.
As an extra bonus for those with a dark side, the serial number is A666xxx. Estimated manufacture date of 1980, give or take a year. (I will call S&W to confirm.)
Includes 1 magazine and a simple Bianchi #2 tan leather holster. No original box or paperwork.
Asking $250. Greater Indy area or can meet at Indy1500 this weekend.
(BTW, the smudge to the left of the trigger was from my thumb print in the layer of oil.)
