Was there about 10 years ago,my boys were about 6 or 7 when we walked in the place, and were registering for H.S. when I finally left.

SMKW is a GREAT store!
I will say their prices are a little high for what I look at, case knives.
But I do purchase from there when I'm there, I'm going to a Case show there June 11th.

If anyone else is looking for case knives and is going that way another good place to stop is bluegrass ace hardware in Richmond, KY. They have great prices and a HUGE selection of case xx.

I went there in 2008 and i am going there over memorial day weekend. My wife even enjoyed it a little bit.

Has anyone ever been to the Smoky Mountain Knife Works store?

I'm heading to Tennessee in a few weeks and thinking about swinging by and checking it out. I've heard its about the size of a walmart with nothing but knives.

Have stopped in there every year I am there on vacation in TN and i thoroughly enjoy it. My wife isn't into knives but they have kitchenware on the lower floor and she enjoys that as much as i enjoy the knives. They also started carrying firearms as well.


Highly suggested if you are in the area.

Yeah, both of those stores ship.
Anthony Hendrix is the case guy at the ace hardware and is a great guy.

This is my favorite store in America. Now that they sell guns and ammo I plan on retiring to TN and working there until I die. You know employee discount.

Recently purchased a glock 19 mos from the gun store inside of SMKW. They went above and beyond. Awesome people to deal with.

Purchased on monday, in my hands on wednesday.

Last year SMKW had some great deals at the NRA convention. They are listed as an exibitor again. So I would say I will be leaving some money with them again...
