I've had a Polytech Legend since the late 80's when a few got in just before Drug Czar (and phony "conservative") Bill Bennett stopped their import.

Mine isn't a folding stock, and even then I STILL paid just under $1000 for it.

It's a quality gun and solidly reliable.

If you can get one, jump on it!

I would have bought it but I see less good guns for sale on that site than here so I never check it.

I have the stamped version folders from the first year import. No milled reciever but still a polytech folder. My only real battle gun.

Funny he told a good friend of mine that he was also just one guy too late.
I sent an email similar to yours stating I would take it if the deal fell through. He also listed an AR for 399, it had the fixed handle(A2) and was a pre-ban sendra lower. Yes I know it doesn't matter here about a ban, but I could've put it on gunbroker and been able to sell it in a "ban state"
