SOLD
For your consideration I am selling a Colt 1911 Level III Series 70.
Many stories surround the Level III. Some say it was a Colt Custom Shop item. Some say not.
It does not have any CCS markings under the grip panels. I believe they were assembled by the CCS.
Also, only 100 of these were made per Brent (CCS manager) at the time. A few threads about these can be seen at 1911Forum/1911Addicts.
I have put exactly 100rds for test/safety function. It's a laser beam with fmj/jhp of differing loads/manufacturers.
Comes with Colt marked Pelican case/Otis cleaning kit, (3) new Colt magazines, (1) used Wilson magazine.
(1) pair of Wood Caliber grip panels.
(1) pair of HighFigure grip panels.
(1) pair of Colt installed grip panels.
The Level III Colts sold for $2000.00 when manufactured in 2016. The last one I seen sold for over $3000.00 at RI auction.
I am listing this for $2500.00 OBO.
