    Whats with the pick-up rings on the lower horizontal and the D-ring at the rear.

    And in the first picture, do you have a welding shop in your garage? Jealous...:(

    Well I put the pick up rings on to help move it around with a overhead crane. (It's heavy) and the D ring is to drag it around my yard with my tractor. I made the steel frame at work. Then finished up with the decking at home.

    Yeah the pad would be nice. The reason I made this so heavy was so it would sit still on my grass. It should sink down a little this summer.

    I like it...a lot. With its heft though, I'd be more inclined to set it and forget it. How much time did you have in it? It looks like it'll survive Armageddon too. Nice job.

    Probably so he can use a loader to move it. It has to be heavy. I would have done the same thing so I could just snatch it up and move it into place.

    Yeah I had to use my tractor with a loader to get it out of my truck. The main post are 4x4 sq tube 3/8 thick. The top frame is 2x2x 3/16 angle. It's close to 500lbs
