The ponds behind Walmart on 46 are pretty decent. I haven't fished them but I hear about people bringing messes home from there. The golf courses have some nice fish but they usually won't let you fish them! The Bluegill/Redear are spawning right now so its a good time to catch them. You'd probably have better luck finding someone with a private lake/pond. Most of the public places around here are overfished like crazy.

Ever since the flood in 07, that little pond behind Candle Light on Rocky Ford. My brother in law fishes there all the time and gets some pretty decent sized fish.
