New guy here. I graduate college with my BS in a week and me, my wife and dog are moving to NW Indiana from central Missouri. I'll be working in Illinois but decided there was no way to live there. I'm a certified gun nut. So decided to live in Indiana .

Can anyone advise me as to where I can ask questions about my Missouri concealed weapons permit and if I can keep it in Indiana or if I'll need to get a new one. Also any weird laws about transporting firearms that I need to be aware of? Any 200+ yard shooting ranges around Schererville?

No other silly laws is there?

Short answer - Indiana residents must have an Indiana License to Carry Handgun (LTCH). On the plus side, it's a lifetime license if you apply properly (i.e. check the right box). MO also recognizes it if/when you travel back to visit family and whatnot.
