I haven't seen a new G18 go for $400.00. The latest offering from my LEO distributor has them for $507.00 for G18 and $532.00 for G18C.

+1 that it is a PDS. He says you have to be a class III dealer, he just doesn't get specific and say you need a letter but you would need one.

Ruben sells them used for $1000 so $900 for a factory one probably isn't to bad for someone that can't get one from a distributor.

A demo letter and a demo is needed period, no matter who or where it comes from if it's a post sample.

Actually there is one exception. If a dealer is going out of business and selling his/her post dealer samples a demo letter is not needed to buy them IIRC.

Neither of us is right... go figure...

I was slightly off... when an SOT lets their SOT drop another SOT dealer still needs a demo letter, but an SOT manufacturer does NOT need the demo letter.

the price seems to reflects or seems to a Pre-May dealer sample,,,post sample r 400-500...pre may higher( but 900 seems a little cheap)....way to cheap for a transferable...I seen a them way above $7500 at Knob Creek a few years back

There are NO transferable G18's in the US.... The Gun Control Act of 1968 banned the importation of ALL TRANSFERABLE NFA firearms. That is why most MP5's are sear guns and why Uzi's are conversions.
