I meant to post this earlier but I forgot.

The Greenwood GM store had a used Remington 870 Wingmaster 12ga for $299. Internals looked very very clean; bolt face was darn near spotless. Exterior wasn't perfect but not bad.

    Had about a 28" barrel.

I saw this on Monday or Tuesday afternoon.

Not a spectacular price, but not bad for a gently used 870.

By comparison, they have a used 870 Express 12 combo for over $500... :n00b:

Wingmaster > 870 Combo of any sort.

I bought my last wingmaster for 169, and its my goto shotgun to this very day. I have never found a pump gun that does it better.

There's used models with a fixed choke (old school) and those with chokes that change out with a tool. I'd go for the latter.

That's a tempting price-assuming you can interchange chokes in the same barrel...

That Wingmaster for 299 in good condition is a pretty good deal. I think they appraise for around $350 in good condition and $385 in excellent condition. I know this because I am in the process of getting a 1955 Remington 870 Wingmaster 16 gauge restored.

I was just at GM and it is a fixed choke and still there. I had to go get a bi-pod so I checked it out. Nice gun.

That's not a bad deal, but not a great one either.
Considering it's a Wingmaster and not an Express.
Barrels are available for choke tubes.
