So I just acquired a ruger sp101 in 32 h&r magnum. Now what I'm looking for is For someone to ream my cylinder so it can chamber 327 federal mag ammo. Basically I want it to be converted to 327fed mag from 32 h&r mag. Make sense?
Any one of a local gunsmith that will do this? Or is this something I can do if I rent the reamer? I rather have a gunsmith do it but I might be pushed to do it my self if I can't find someone. Help please lol

That's a rather rare revolver. I'd leave it alone or sell/trade it and get what you want.

I have to agree with kludge. Check with Ruger on the strength needed for the 327 Federal Magnum. I believe the chamber pressure exceeds that of a 357 mag. and the 32 H&R mag. You may find the cylinder and frame need to be abit beefier.
