    I would imagine that I am late to this party but I was just on the Ruger site and could not help but notice that they have added a commander model to their 1911 stable. I also noticed that the MSRP for both are 829.00, up from 799.00.

    They have not met the demand for the full size yet and are introducing another. I cannot help but wonder if limiting the supply keeps the demand and therefore the prices up.

    I'm frustrated over Ruger not being able to keep up with demand as it is. For that kind of money, I would rather have a Sig or a Springfield and know I have a proven performer rather than be a beta tester for Ruger's newest unobtainable offering. Just my :twocents:

    Ruger will end up killing themselves by not producing enough. It is stupid to bring out new models when you cannot even keep up with the demand for last years products. Go Ed Brown!!!!:rockwoot:

    I love Ruger, but i agree they need to work on their huge Back log.
