So, I'm throwing together a "competition" carbine. I don't actually expect to run many practical shooting competitions with it; I'm just looking for a rifle I can run at varying engagement distances, all the while doing my best Jerry Miculek impression. I bought a Bushnell 1-4 with the "throw down" lever on it on sale last year, but have recently been intrigued by the Nikon 3x32 P-223 scope. I haven't been too terribly thrilled with the Bushnell's eye relief and since the Nikon is so inexpensive, it wouldn't be too much of a ding to my budget to swap the optics. Thoughts?
