Steven Chu on the Solyandra Giveaway

Steven Chu testifed before congress on the Solyandra giveaway. Needless to say, he was unapologetic for the debacle and stated that he was unaware of the risks with the firm. This is the guy that Obama wisked away from UC Berkley (Berserkly) who advocates, among other things, to coat/paint/manufacture road and tops of buildings white or other color than black to reflect heat back out in space (imagine driving on a white or pink colored road) and conceived of a global economy based on glucose extracted from plants grown in the tropics that would replace oil. He is the bozo who advoctes cap and trade and driving the price of oil and coal up. It is also noted that the Department of Energy, during his watch, revised water usage requirements for toilets and urinals. You know, the ones that require two or more flushes. To paraphrase what we used to say in the Army- flush twice - its a long way to Washington.
