    Based on the article this replica in .22lr weights the same as the original. So shooting .22lr out of it with that much weight makes it a 'fun gun' so to speak. :D

    Too bad we can't get the real version. :( without paying an arm & leg...

    i got to hold an actual mp44 at the evansville gunshow awhile back. it was almost like a wet dream. i have always loved those rifles and i finally got to hold one. it was alot heavier than i thought it would be. $ 23grand !

    they did a very good job making those, handled one at my local gun shop very authentic in detail, hopefully they will come down a few dollars so I can justify buying one.
