Hi. With articles like these coming out:

NY Gun Confiscation Underway - Citizens Told to Turn in Pistol Owner ID & Firearms

    and

Attorney: Use Anti-Anxiety Meds, Lose Pistol Permit - WBEN NewsRadio 930 : Buffalo & Niagara Falls, NY

It has been a concern for me for a while, with all of this discussion. I take a medicine that helps me tremendously with my anxiety. However, I am concerned with what I should do. When I turn 18 in a few months, my plan has always been to immediately get my LTCH. My worries are that when I apply by then, something crazy like this will reach into Indiana. Any suggestions on what I should do?

Also just something I thought of.. If they are taking away firearms from those who take anti-anxiety meds (which is completely irrelevant) wouldn't it make since to them to take away peoples vehicles if they drink alcohol?

Don't confuse New York State and Connecticut with Indiana. If they were any more far apart with regard to the second amendment, NYS and CT wouldn't even be on the continent.
