    CZ 75 compact or P01 would be a good choice.
    Walther PPQ is a very good choice too.
    hard to beat an aluminum framed 38 special too.

    Shooting classes too.

    Try to attend one of the meet and shoots or rent as others have mentioned. Shoot as many as she can and see what she does the best with and feels right to her.

    I wouldn't get anything with a safety or a hammer but that is my two cents worth. I had a Sig 938 and traded it for a Glock. Safty and trigger was real stiff and with it being so small it was hard to operate. Holster it came with was garbage. Gun was accurate although took a lot on the shooters part to make good hits. In a stressful situation I think it would be a nightmare. Gun was also so light I kept thinking I lost it. Had to keep touching my belt to see if it was still there.

    If you have to have a hammer LCRX although my first choice would be Glock
