Hello to all. I have been following along here for quite some time and made the decision to register today. I almost never post anything on the internet but I feel strongly about this so here goes....I, for some reason, had let my NRA membership expire. I just renewed my membership a few minutes ago. Also joined the Gun Owners of America today as well. We may not always agree with these organizations but lets face it. They are our advocates in Washington in support of our Second Amendment rights. Just got off the phone with my senators and representative also. Please call or write yours and lets let them know where we stand. Thanks.

Welcome aboard. I have sung the same song recently. I'm already an NRA member. Tried to join ISRPA but that's not as easy as it could be. Still in the works, I think. They haven't responded to my email. Joined GOA yesterday online. Took about 5 minutes. Took them about 4 hours to send me an email pounding their chest and joining CNN in bashing the NRA. That doesn't sit well with me, I think the two organizations should be working together, but I'm not stopping payment on my membership.... yet.
Edit: Just checked my email and ISRPA has replied. They are mailing me an application and looking for a volunteer computer whiz.

I have been a Life Member of the NRA for quite some time. I've contributed extra and got others to join over the years. Today though, I had a great experience. I offered to buy my wife and two grown daughters memberships in the NRA. My wife had let her membership lapse, so it was a no brainer to get her to re-up. I e-mailed my daughters this morning requesting their permission to enroll them and got very quick responses. They were both enthusiastic about joining! Chalk up three new members for the NRA! Maybe I did do something right when they were growing up.
