The difference is "tactical" vs "tacticool" as far as I'm concerned.

I used "suppressor" on my Form 4 without a problem, but among friends, we just refer to them as "cans". Obviously, "cans" can also refer to other things as well.

Just wait until your wife catches the tail end of a phone conversation with you asking one of your buddies to "send me some pictures of your new cans!". Been there, done that....
