What about the old Swiss rifles in my basement (and the basements of many INGO members). The Swiss don't destroy them, they sell them. Destroy is just the cover story.
You know how that goes, Mr. J. Governments says they will destroy guns but then turn and sell them to the Greek or Armenian arms dealers. Just like how BDR "destroyed" all those DDR AKs by selling them to both sides in Yugoslavia.
Or, how Chicago, New Orleans, or NYC "destroys" guns (publicly chuck a few in the furnace) and then sell, usually with 100 or 150 mile restrictions, the rest that they do not keep (very few get stolen as most are junk).
I was thinking that the caption was wrong, there's too much workmanship in those. I have one, and it's metalwork is a thing of beauty. The stock however, looks like it was used to fend off a family of hungry beavers.
