For those that train gun disarms, I have been using the TAK G17 training pistol for a couple of months and have found it ideal.

It is solid enough to replicate a Glock 17, but has enough give so that fingers are not broken during take aways and retention.

    Recommended.

Never have seen or heard of these before, but am definitely interested!

They are working great. Our kwoon ordered them after a member, identified only by his initials "K.F.", broke an orange Glock that we had used for a long time.

I just wish they made long gun versions. We use the blue gun M4 and 870 and the M4 leaves scars on my forearms during take away and counter take away drills from the front sight assembly. I have a divot missing from my right forearm an aggressive session this Sunday.
