You've been getting some terrible advice.
The only reason you don't need to feel weird is that you are a Glock Cult member. All cult members believe there is only one gun and that is a Glock. Nothing could be further from the truth. We all justify our actions however we need, but some have taken that to a religious extremes. Eat your vanilla ice cream every day and revel in the knowledge that there are no other flavors.
You need to get out more.
