And Pennsylvania proves it. They instituted a tax to aid the victims of the Johnstown Flood 70 years ago. The city was rebuilt and the tax not only still exists, it's been enhanced over the years. Don't ever let a politician tell you about a temporary tax or a temporary increase. They ARE lying. Just look at Indy.
