I live in Tippecanoe County and was an FFL for ten years. I have since moved on from that and now thinking about starting
a new business in the area. This is just to get peoples thoughts or ideas on a Military Surplus store, survival items, SHTF items
and any other related items. Not sure how it would go over but I know most other stores like this are a good drive away. :dunno:

Military surplus sells like crack in a trap house. You've got to be able to get the bigger sizes for clothing (can be hard depending on how auctions are ran at the time). Bags, belts, packs, small gear items always sell. Mickey Mouse boots sold like crazy up in the northern part of the state (ice fishermen love them). My brother and I ran a small surplus business part time and we were making decent money. Didn't have the time to do it full time. I wouldn't mind getting back into surplus and having an FFL. Get all the hunters, survivalists, tin foil wearers gathering under one roof.
