All the news reporting seems to emphasize that the (still on the loose) murderer in Texas who executed the family was using an AR.

Interesting that the story has little or only late reference to the fact that the killer has no legal right to posses a firearm in America?

Suspect in Texas massacre had been deported 4 times after entering US illegally, ICE source says

And that he was deported 2 to 5 times depending on the source. They conveniently omit that info.

Just like the media has latched onto Griner's story that she was jailed in Russia for "just some pot" when it was Hashish oil.

Seems like the media likes to tell stories rather than report on facts. Our media is by and large corrupt.

What I'm getting from this is that a whole family would be alive today if America had a secure border.

That is correct. He was a habitual abuser who continued to cross the border illegally, evidently without consequence. But the media wants to focus on the model of firearm he used to commit this heinous crime instead of the type of person who would do such a thing.

One could (and should) argue that this illegal that has been deported four times has been emboldened by "our" lack of border and law enforcement?

The news reports are that the man possessed numerous firearms, none of which are legal for him to possess, much less flaunt by shooting in his front yard.

He had to be a known problem to law enforcement. Obviously he was to ICE. So once again the problem had been identified and the appropriate authorities(*) failed to act to stop it.

    (*) LEO and/or Judicial and/or Administrative....

I heard something on the news this evening that led me to believe that the family that was affected were not here legally either. :dunno: Still a tragic loss of life, but it highlights the problem we have with the border.

Damned liberal libtard “journalists” just love stating all they can about the weapon and not the criminal or the fact he was in the US illegally! Scratch up another murder by an illegal alien on Brandon’s watch. Makes me ill!

Yep. And if they hadnt crossed illegally, they wouldnt have been there to be killed either. Sucks all the way around.

Are you sure about that whole no legal rights thing? Appears they have the right to tax payer funded healthcare, etc. Why should they not have 2nd Amendment rights as well?

Again this proves that gun control has little to do with stopping crime, and everything to do with control.
