Earlier this afternoon, heading South from my parents in Fishers, I was pulled over for being in a hurry. The officer said, "I noticed you're in a hurry." I said, "I am." After a brief amicable conversation and running of my license, I left with a verbal warning.

Just tought I'd share a good experience to counter the occasional hate here. :)

In my nearly two decades of being a licensed driver I have never once gotten a ticket. I have been pulled over more than a few times but I find that if you're honest and polite (and not doing something incredibly stupid) most of the time you will get a "have a nice day" and "be careful". Or maybe I'm just incredibly lucky...or charming. Probably just luck :)

I've also gotten away with my fair share of "warnings". A lot of traffic stops can go either direction, it's all about how you conduct yourself.
