The National Defense Authorization Act of 2011 (NDAA) was signed by President Obama on New Years Eve last year. It allows soldiers to arrest U.S. citizens on U.S. soil. It allows Americans to be held in overseas military prison camps, indefinitely without trial. Yet with a straight face the media tells us that PBS is a legitimate election issue, and which parts of Obamacare the candidates would like to hang onto.

Something is seriously wrong with this picture.

    Nobody cares.

    Haven't you heard?

This election is about how the government can "create jobs".... never mind that the government can do nothing without taking something.

People want their "free ****". Liberty be damned.

Posse Comitatus is merely a law that congress can change at any time. And has. It only regulates the actions of the Army and the Air Force (which came out of the Army), Navy and Marines are not covered by the law thus can be used to enforce federal laws.

What you really have to remember is that our military is not all that large. Nor all that willing to be used against US citizens. It would take a military of 15 million to really be effective as law enforcement. And then who would police them?

Armor is not all that effective in Afghanistan or Iraq. Our military is stronger in open terrority rather than in urban areas. Thus they are vunerable to insurgencies. It would take an overwhelming force to control a population and it would take very few to counter that force. At that point only genocide would work.

Then what would keep the troops in line? That many young men with weapons would be a mess waiting to happen.

Frankly the feminists would never trust men enough to allow such a force. They would rather use health care as a backdoor control over human behavior. Plus they see war as a male activity and want to ban it. Once war is gone then they could justify banning weapons. Ultimate goal is to have an emasculated population.

As a Marine and Indiana gun owner i would not follow any suck order unless said civilians should be arrested for committing crimes that would get them arrested by police and because the police are otherwise unavailable to do their job or are there with me and need help.
