This dude got it backwards. It wasn't what Brown could do for you, it was what Brown could do for him . . . or so he thought.

Former UPS worker accused of stealing guns, phones | WSB-TV

His undoing was purloining pistols from a UPS package destined for a gun store. UPS did what they would normally do when they investigated, terminate the guy. ATF and local LE were not amused and pursued the theft (UPS undoubtedly knew LE was on the case as the store owner had called UPS and ATF). Had it not been for the pistol pilferage, he'd have probably kept accumulating yet more booty a while longer. They not only recovered the purloined pistols, they also recovered numerous cell phones and smart watches.

On top of state theft charges he'll have some federal weapons charges. If stupidity were a crime, that would be yet another felony charge.

The cherry on the top of this particular sundae is that all the guns and other loot were recovered and (the only part that sucks, but that's the nature of criminal investigations) will be returned to the rightful parties after the legal process is completed.
Let's just hope that this loser gets punished as severely as the law allows.

Obviously dealing with a brain surgeon here...stealing guns on the way to a gun store...like no will notice the shipment of 10 contains only 1.

How he likely envisioned the reaction in the gun store:
Oh my! Did we forget to type in the zero after the one on our order? Did they read it wrong and miss the trailing zero on our order? Better call and order the other nine!

Yup! His elevator isn't making it all the way to the penthouse.
