    Woo Hoo! New thread.

Hey BA, the CZ 1911 does have a dovetailed front sight. Per CZ, it's a Springfield 1911 cut.

I don't know what I want to do for 2016. 2015 was expensive given the number of guns added to the collection. I added a 1980 Colt SP-1 AR, Daniel Defense M4A1, Dan Wesson CCO and the CZ 1911. All were good additions, but were definitely more money than I'm used to spending. But I'm really learning that you do get what you pay for in a lot of cases and its going to be tough to be happy with the entry level equipment unless it's as a basis for a build. In 2015, I let go of a Bersa .380, two Glock 19s, an AR24K, a Glock 20sf and a Saiga AK.

I'm thinking that 2016 might see more of a focus on improving what I have. To fund that, I'm thinking I may move a Ruger Scout, 930SPX, IJ M1 Carbine and maybe the EAA Witness in 10mm. I'm not sure if I can bring myself to sell any of those though, so we'll have to see how things turned out this time next year.

hey Brett do you have a Glock in the 45? And if so do you like it?psyko

    I've had a G21 and a G41 (long slide)
the G41 was very accurate and easily kept up with the Sig 1911 I had.
However, the G41 was a little snappier than the G21.
the G21 has a slightly heavier slide and is smoother to shoot.

If I was going to get another glock in 45, it would be a G21.
the Gen 4 has a slightly smaller grip than the Gen3 but I think the bigger grip helps it feel smoother to shoot.

I have a G21SF that I like. If you can make it up this way to shoot, let me know and I'll bring it along. It's one of the few Glocks, along with a G23 and G27 on my keeper list. Since selling my G20sf, I do need to add a Storm Lake 10mm barrel for it though.

It does pay for the toys though. Were would I be without my job? Probably at the range burning up my retirement savings. Wait, that actually sounds pretty good.
