Thank you for the responses! I appreciate the information. I like the idea of the SP-01 because of the decocker. I have a P-01 so I would maintain the same manual of arms.

I have a stock SP-01 tactical and love it. It had the best CZ trigger out of the box compared with all my other cz pistols and has gotten better with use (YMMV). It is my usual nightstand pistol and I have a dovetail mount dot and WML on it. Shoots great And easily one of my most accurate pistols (much more accurate than I will ever be). I am sure with just a little massage by the wizard and a few Cajun parts it would easily be a competition pistol if I wanted. It was also my first CZ and my second was a PCR!

I do not. Just my brother who has somehow became a bigger Cz fan than me. I think it’s because of the substantially larger amount of disposable income LOL

I know! It’s not right. He was hardcore G**** for a long time and didn’t care for metal and now he’s gone off the deep end with his Cz collection. Pretty soon he’s gonna get a personalized Cz inspired license plate too LOL

Interesting, the rest of us in here are getting slimmer, younger, faster, and more attractive. You may want to change your brand of deodorant to see if this fixes the problem. LOL

I would go for the SP-01 if I expected to use it as a defensive gun due to the Shadow 2's very light single action pull.

My suggestion is to get the Shadow 2 as a range gun and continue to use the P-01 for defense. Best of both worlds.

Where are you located? We may have a ELC in your area. Nothing beats checking out a model that already has the mods that you’re looking into.
