This is me, in 1969 with my dad's Winchester Model 62, I was 7 years old. That was the first gun I ever shot.

Many years later, dad gave me that gun and I still have it.

Remington Sportmaster 341 22 long rifle.
I actually just looked the model up and was shocked to learn that it is pre World War II and only about 100,000 were produced. So now I'm going to have to take it to a gunsmith to get refinished because I am a little ashamed at the current state that it is in.

A single shot 22 short! After that it was a Rossi single shot 20 gauge and it was so light and kicked like a mule! Shot it as much as I absolutely could even though it broke my shoulder every time:ar15:

A 1970's remington 514 in my grandparent's back yard. I still have that gun actually, recently got them to let it join my collection.

Winchester thumb trigger 22. I spent most of my young summer days in the front yard, under the shade tree with my Grandfather shooting cans, bumble bees and anything that would hold still long enough.

My Dad's Model 61 Winchester pump .22 in short, long and long rifle.
I think I was probably about 6 yrs. old. He loaded it with .22 shorts and we shot at cans. I still have that rifle 54 yrs. later

10 years old. 44 mag, ruger blackhawk. Uncle said if you can handle this, you can handle anything. That was 30 years ago when 44 mag was the biggest handgun caliber at that time.
