I have personally worked for Audi CEO/CFO's and engineers....and I can tell you....they are anything but liberal. This commercial was nothing more than a marketing stratedgy. ......you know....everyone is doing it

as the name may suggest... i drive a diesel (2000 F250 7.3L)... when i saw that audi accelerating away from the checkpoint showing the "cleanness" of diesel all i could think about was that being me... turning up the HP on my chip and leaving a thick soot cloud on the green police lol.

You should get behind the wheel of an A10.......far from green that beast is:rockwoot:

Technically speaking, as I used to work for Toyota and being told by upper management....the Japanese people who own/operate Toyota do care about the environment, it's mostly to get other manufacture's clients interested by being eco-friendly.

Nonetheless, I found it to be distasteful and to be quite honest, it pissed me off!

Definitely a disturbing commercial when all the implications were considered. After explaining to the GF why I had reservations she thanked me for bursting her shangri-la view of the world. Heck I thought I did that years ago:dunno:
