First saw it in Grade School. by a magician selling war-stamps.

More powerful now, that I have friends who gave all.
Names I Recall :

on Liberty 's beaches staked banners glow.
"I'll Give!" each answered, when asked: "Who'll go?"

those monoliths, 'graven:
Names I Recall.

our Mourning sobs one tear, one breath.
Never-ending Hope reigns in our one heart:
far from battles, Reunion , ne'er to part.
