So, Obama said they were going to start pulling our troops out of the 'Stan in 2011. Now, we're informed, that's not going to start taking place till 2014, at the earliest. My guess is that we'll still be there when my children graduate from college, (a long way off). How many tours will the average soldier have to do there in their lifetimes?

We are finally realizing that the middle east is a never ending war? They have been fighting and killing each other for 5000 years. When you have groups like Hezbollah that believe that the only reason to live is to kill others, you have a problem with trying to bring peace.

Fact of life is that war in the middle east is never ending. The only problem we face is that with modern travel, they now have the means to bring war to any part of the world they want. They are no longer confined to their region.

Did any one really expect "change"? This is nothing more than evidence supporting puppet state control of our Govt.

How many times do the People need to hold rallies, vote (joke?) to make a difference only to see they're desires pushed aside for that of another.

    We have two options.

    1). Leave
2). Or do this one big, no more regulations, no more hearts and minds..

The part I hate hearing about Europe, Japan, Korea is that there was a surrender deal made; They didnt want to fight anymore, and more specifically these were standing Armies, not individuals, or sperse organizations.

The best thing we could do is leave, end our dependence on foreign fossil fuels and let these guys go back to eatting roaches and no running water, killing they're own populations, and when they're all gone, we come in and claim it.

Were done with combat operations in Iraq too! Tell that to the 50,000 troops still stationed there and getting into daily firefights.

British top general recently told the UK government that we cannot defeat AQ, in the conventional sense at least, and that the UK needed to be prepared for 30 more years of this...

Don't have a cite for this but it was all over the BBC and NPR this morning.

Hate to say it, but the Brits probably have this thing right.

The number one goal of the UN and europe is to get the American military heavily involved in africa. There is more money potential there for those groups than any other place, the only problem is government stability. Young Americans will die to make them richer, all under some high sounding banner. War without end.
