Everybody knows adding lots of power overcomes any driver shortcomings :):

I went to a gathering of people I worked with at a local Go-Kart track with the Biscayne. We were all pumped up from an evening if racing some truly fast Karts.
I was leaving and just had to do a burn out on the line lock and then launch it on the T-Brake.
Epic burn out. Serious hard launch. Drove through the tires and near hit a string of parked cars. It was a lot closer to disaster than I ever let on.

That would’ve turned a good story into a great story.

    Is it toast...???

I’m done messing with it. I can’t get the oil filter bypass out. Mine isn’t the kind that has two bolts that holds it in. Takes a giant Allen wrench. I “made” one out of a bolt and some nuts. It ain’t happenin. Just gonna take it to my mechanic on Monday and hope it’s not a $2k fix. Probably will be.

CM was into the van craze?
That was a strange fad and time my BIL had a Ford van with the wood paneling and round windows jacked up in the back.
I bet CM has some great stories from that time?
