Yep. I've done all those things. Had a rotary phone growing up. My first TV was a 13" B&W. My first car had an 8-track tape player.

I still have a couple of rotary phones down in the cage. You can still use them, you know. The 8-track was big new technology after my little 3½" monophonic reel-reel. I had an old 17" B/W, foil and all, and like a small child, you'd have to spank it once in a while when it would get fractious.
