The sexiest rifle - Ever

...to me anyway. I've been waiting for over a decade for this rifle to finally make it to the US. There is balance in the force today.

For those that don't know, the rifle is a IWI Tavor 5.56mm rifle with a Trijicon SRS red dot sight.

I remember the first time I saw one was in a big Jane's book and I thought it was pretty slick. Unfortunately this will be another rifle no one can get their hands on thanks to panic pricing, scarcity, and possible acts of legislation.

I am actually surprised the politicians have not discovered the evils of bullpup designs... cause its so much more concealable and evil looking.

No. Bullpup designs retain barrel length by moving everything rearward within the buttstock. There is far less wasted length this way. It gains in mobility without sacrifices to accuracy or muzzle velocity.

The rifle is very short, but it meets the overall length requirements of 26". The 16" barrel sets far rearward with the action of the rifle being in the buttstock. It makes for a very short package.
