I have always done business with the Sportsmans Guide!! They Rock!! Always cool stuff! You can't beat that 4- pay plan! What a concept!

I did business with them exactly once. And after the sold my information to every sleazy company out there and I was getting catalogs 2-3 times a week from companies I'd never heard from, I vowed they'd never get my business again.

I've used them a few times for ammo. The last time was a multi-year adventure

In March of 2009 I placed an order for 2 boxes of cheap .45 ACP, couple of boxes of 9mm (Corbon IIRC) and two boxes of .357 Magtech HP.

Every 4-6 months I'd get one of the boxes. The final box arrived sometime late last summer. Over 16 months to get an order of less than 250 rounds of Ammo.

Honestly, after while it becomes a game to see which would give up first -- me or their ordering system.

Unless you are prepared to wait or know that they really do have the items in stock, I'd use someone else (my .02c).

I never had a problem with them, but they are the fingerhut of sporting goods.

I've never had any problems with them. I ordered 1000 rds. of ammo last Wed. and UPS says I'll have it Mon.

They went downhill when that French co. bought them out and procedures changed. They used to be extremely reputable.

So far I have had pretty good luck with them. If you are careful and shop their specials you can get some pretty good deals.

I joined for 1 year but found their ammo pricing high and the items that I did buy were of lower quality. Needless to say I didn't renew my membership.

Actually, I think that they own those other sleazy companies. Not as happy with them as in the past. It was rumored that it was sold to a foreign outfit

I have yet to have a problem.
